(…And Privacy!)” The children’s advertising landscape is constantly evolving, from CARU to COPPA to Child Influencers. In this session, learn about new ways to navigate this ever-evolving marketing industry, the long-awaited updated FTC Endorsement Guides and the future of children’s advertising and digital privacy as we know it.

Paavana Kumar, Advertising + Marketing partner, will lead a unique roundtable discussion titled, “AMA @ ANA: A Rapid-Fire E-Commerce Q&A.” In today’s aggressive regulatory climate, it may seem impossible to successfully run an e-commerce business without stepping into a legal minefield. In this session, attendees are invited to pose their most challenging question of the day (or the year) — from “one click” cancellation, Negative Option rules, AI and more. It’s simple: Ask Paavana.
Paavana’s session will be held on Friday, November 17, 8:30 – 9:30 am
Gary Kibel, Privacy + Data Security partner, will discuss stories from the front lines of real-world privacy requirement challenges companies face titled, “Lions and Tigers and Bears – Oh My!” Panelists and audience members will be invited to raise issues and approaches they are using to solve problems, for a chance to learn and share solutions. Gary will also join a roundtable discussion on Friday discussing “Kicking Off Your Privacy Program: The First Step Towards Internal and External Compliance, Including Contracts, Opt-Outs, and Vendor Obligations.”
Gary’s sessions will be held on Thursday, November 16, 4:20 – 5:05 pm and Friday, November 17, 8:30 – 9:30 am
