Davis+Gilbert is pleased to announce that Jennifer Cohen has joined the firm as a partner in its Corporate + Transactions practice group.
Jennifer advises middle-market companies, founders, investors and private equity firms on mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, joint ventures and a broad range of corporate matters. She also serves as outside general counsel to businesses across a variety of industries, including media, entertainment, sports, technology, consumer products and professional services. Prior to joining Davis+Gilbert, Jennifer was a partner at Sklar Kirsh. Her experience also includes serving as corporate counsel for Elevate Sports Ventures and VenueNext, as well as practicing at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.
Jennifer joins Davis+Gilbert as the firm’s Corporate + Transactions team continues to advise clients through a robust transactional market. Her addition further enhances the group’s ability to support middle-market companies, founders, investors and private equity firms across a broad range of acquisitions, investments and strategic growth initiatives.

Jennifer regularly represents buyers and sellers in acquisitions, dispositions and investment transactions. Known for her ability to navigate complex transactions while keeping clients’ business objectives front and center, she helps companies identify risks, evaluate opportunities and execute strategic growth initiatives.

Jennifer earned her J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law and her B.S.E., cum laude, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
