Overview
Ashley Haripal supports businesses and brands entering into complex entertainment agreements for celebrity endorsements, influencers, and trademarks.
Coming from the agency world, Ashley understands the key concerns of entertainment, fashion, and beauty industry stakeholders in talent agreements. She supports all aspects of representation, commercial endorsements, personal appearances, services, licensing and releases. Whether she’s navigating a celebrity endorsement for a clothing company or a personal appearance for an alcohol brand, her clear communication on the commercial and legal considerations of the deal helps prevent potential stumbling blocks.
In negotiations, Ashley works to alleviate trademark and intellectual property concerns. She also focuses on removing barriers involving exclusivity and the ability to use the name, image, or likeness of models, actors, and athletes. Business development, brand management, and marketing teams value her collaboration in ensuring compliance with contract terms across product categories.
Before joining Davis+Gilbert, Ashley gained in-house experience at talent and media agencies handling agreements covering talent representation, intellectual property licensing, and copyright matters.
