Session Overview

Many businesses are considering, or indeed already using, AI in their operations. From generating new marketing content to integrating AI systems into the workplace or backend systems, the efficiencies and competitive advantages are compelling, but the pitfalls can be devastating.

U.S. businesses must understand and comply with new international and domestic data privacy laws and regulatory frameworks around AI for responsible use of AI systems, and build and maintain trust consumers and stakeholders. Recently, we have seen the watershed adoption of the EU AI Act as the world’s first piece of comprehensive legislation regulating AI, and in the U.S., individual states have recently begun enacting various AI laws, with more on the way. Now is the time to start thinking about your business’s AI compliance journey.
