Davis+Gilbert again received significant recognition in The Legal 500, the world’s largest legal referral guide. Davis+Gilbert is ranked as a leading firm in the 2018 United States edition in four practice areas with 19 recommended attorneys.
For the 12th consecutive year, the firm earned the top-tier ranking in Media, Technology and Telecoms: Advertising and Marketing, and in Cyber Law (Tier 3) for the seventh consecutive year. The firm was also ranked in Labor and Employment: Workplace and Employment Counseling (Tier 3) and Intellectual Property: Copyright (Tier 4), both for the sixth consecutive year.
Advertising + Marketing
Davis+Gilbert was praised for its “absolutely world-class experts’ who provide “unmatched depth and knowledge” to its advertiser, brand and agency clients. The firm’s recent work advising advertising agencies on collective bargaining agreements with the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) was applauded.
Ronald R. Urbach, chairman of the firm and co-chair of the Advertising + Marketing practice group, and Partner Joseph J. Lewczak were recognized as “Leading Lawyers.” Urbach, a 2017 inductee to The Legal 500 “Hall of Fame,” the apex individual ranking from the publication, was called “genuinely exceptional” by clients.
