Overview
Yang Li advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships, helping them navigate fast‑moving transactions with clarity and practical insight. She supports deals at every stage, working with companies and investors across industries such as marketing, technology, and emerging growth sectors.
Yang works closely with deal teams, executives, and investors to keep transactions organized and moving. She helps structure and complete diligence across workstreams, drafts and negotiates purchase agreements and ancillary documents, and communicates clearly on key risks and open items throughout the process.
Her experience representing private equity sponsors and strategic buyers gives her a practical understanding of how deals are run on both sides of the table, and she applies that perspective to each new transaction.
Before joining Davis+Gilbert, Yang was an associate at Kirkland & Ellis, where she supported transactions ranging from early‑stage investments to multibillion‑dollar acquisitions across a variety of sectors.
