John Milani helps employers attract and retain high-performing talent by providing advice tailored to the needs of their organizations. Combining his insight into industry and legal trends John advises on a range of employment, compensation, and benefits issues, from employment and benefits policies to executive compensation agreements.
When collaborating with in-house legal and human resources teams, John seeks solutions that align with the clients’ operational goals with their employee benefits and compensation packages. He analyzes and addresses complex issues involving retirement and health plans, bonus and sales commissions, restrictive covenant agreements and workers compensation. John also draws on knowledge of incentive equity and severance arrangements to identify potential issues in transaction due diligence.
Before joining Davis+Gilbert, John was an associate at Ropes & Gray, where he focused on complex benefits, compensation and employment-related issues.
