With a keen eye for detail, JoHanna Rothseid supports brands and businesses in selecting and protecting trademarks, navigating claims, managing and growing trademark portfolios, and enforcing intellectual property rights.
JoHanna assists clients across various industries, including digital media, technology, consumer products, fashion and entertainment. She performs trademark clearance and portfolio management based on the clients’ specific needs, consumer-facing personalities and business objectives. She liaises between her clients and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, responding to office actions and working with trademark examiners to get applications approved.
Whether counseling clients or pursuing an aggressive enforcement action, JoHanna delivers solutions that align with each client’s brand and business goals.
Before joining Davis+Gilbert, JoHanna was an associate at a full-service IP-focused firm and was previously an intellectual property attorney at IBM. Drawing on that experience, she combines an insider’s business perspective with legal knowledge, working seamlessly with client teams. JoHanna also has a background in content marketing.
