Overview
Daniel Solomon works with employers of all sizes across industries, helping them manage employment issues and avoid liability exposure.
Thorough, pragmatic and proactive, Daniel gains an understanding of each client’s operations, goals and concerns. Then, he works on solutions that limit risk and prevent future problems. Daniel advises firm clients on employment practices and helps draft employee handbooks and workplace policies based on industry standards and what makes sense for their business. He also plays a significant role in arbitrations and litigation, conducting research, analyzing case law, handling document review and fact and expert discovery, and drafting critical motions.
Before joining Davis+Gilbert, Daniel was an associate at Winston & Strawn in New York. While in law school, he was a legal extern for the New York City Mayor’s Office of Labor Relations where he worked on labor and employment matters and gained experience litigating arbitrations under collective bargaining agreements.
