Overview
Shweta McCallen counsels clients on issues relating to data preservation and collection, document review and document production. Shweta develops cost-effective strategies to preserve and collect electronically stored information in litigation, arbitration and investigations. She also designs e-discovery workflows that leverage data analytics, predictive coding algorithms, visualization and machine learning to provide efficient and defensible e-discovery solutions.
Shweta assists with negotiations with opposing counsel on e-discovery issues. Focused on e-discovery and data protection issues, Shweta helps increase efficiency, accelerate fact development and reduce litigation costs. By carefully considering any special needs for a case, its deadlines and client budgets, she tailors each strategy to a particular matter so that the best evidence can be identified and all e-discovery obligations under state and federal rules are satisfied.
Managing the firm’s e-discovery technology, Shweta acts as a liaison between those providers and the Davis+Gilbert team. Shweta also trains and oversees document review teams and manages document review workflows. Before joining Davis+Gilbert, she served as a patent litigation associate at Kenyon & Kenyon, discovery attorney at Willkie Farr & Gallagher and discovery counsel at MoloLamken.
