Rachel Pester helps employers navigate workplace challenges and resolve disputes with a practical, business-focused approach. She focuses on day-to-day employment counseling, as well as litigation, arbitration and mediation, and internal investigations.
Rachel works with companies across industries, advising on issues such as disability accommodations, separations, and the protection of proprietary information. She delivers straightforward guidance on everyday employment decisions, helping organizations manage risk without losing sight of business priorities. When disputes arise, she supports employers in discrimination, whistleblower, wrongful termination, and restrictive covenant matters, assisting with litigation and administrative proceedings in state and federal forums.
As a former judicial law clerk and commercial litigator, Rachel understands how workplace decisions are evaluated when challenged. She supports all stages of disputes, from internal investigations and discovery through briefing and resolution, with a focus on clear analysis and well-developed factual records.
Rachel combines practical employment counseling with litigation insight to help clients address immediate issues and make informed decisions that support long-term workplace stability. Before joining Davis+Gilbert, she was a litigation associate at Willkie Farr & Gallagher and Sullivan & Cromwell.
