Overview
Isabel Malmazada works with high-net-worth individuals and families to design estate plans that preserve their legacies for future generations. Recognizing that estate planning can be highly nuanced and complex, Isabel takes the time to ensure that clients understand their options and create a plan that will accomplish their goals.
Working alongside family offices, accountants, wealth advisors and life insurance agents, Isabel focuses on tax-efficient estate plans designed to save money and preserve assets. Isabel helps clients navigate complicated planning issues related to estate, income, gift and generation skipping transfer taxes and business succession planning. Whether starting from scratch or reviewing existing client estate plans, Isabel spends time with clients to craft sophisticated wills, trusts and related planning instruments tailored to the unique needs of each client.
Isabel supports families and other beneficiaries throughout the probate, estate and trust administration process, maintaining clear and constant communication. When it comes to fulfilling a client’s philanthropic goals, Isabel forms and assists in the administration of LLCs and family foundations to ensure the client’s charitable legacy is achieved.
Before joining Davis+Gilbert, Isabel was an associate in the trusts and estates departments of McLaughlin & Stern and Phillips Nizer.
