Overview
Dallas Taylor represents companies, lenders, and other stakeholders navigating complex bankruptcy proceedings, corporate restructurings, and distressed transactions. He partners with public and private companies, acquirers of distressed assets, equity holders, and other parties to assess risk, map out options, and execute practical, business-driven strategies when timing is everything. His clients span the financial services, healthcare, retail, and real estate sectors.
On the transactional side, Dallas advises on all phases of restructuring matters, from pre-filing strategy through confirmation and post-confirmation administration. His experience includes negotiating and executing Section 363 asset sales, structuring debtor-in-possession financing, drafting plans of reorganization, and counseling clients on out-of-court workouts and forbearance agreements. He also represents both secured lenders and borrowers in refinancing credit facilities, including negotiating amendments, waivers, and intercreditor agreements, as well as structuring exit financing to facilitate emergence from Chapter 11.
On the litigation side, Dallas prosecutes and defends contested matters arising in bankruptcy cases and insolvency-related disputes. By integrating the transactional and litigation dimensions of a matter, he helps clients maintain continuity from the deal table to the courtroom—leveraging transaction knowledge to sharpen dispute strategy and drawing on litigation experience to strengthen negotiations.
Dallas takes a pragmatic, process-driven approach grounded in how restructuring matters actually unfold. He works closely with clients to cut through complexity, prioritize what matters most, and drive matters toward resolution efficiently and decisively.
Before joining the firm, Dallas practiced as a restructuring associate at three international law firms.
