Amy Shepherd leads Davis+Gilbert’s integrated marketing and business development strategy, combining deep industry experience with a forward-thinking approach to innovation. With more than 20 years in legal marketing and business development, Amy helps drive firm growth by aligning technology, data, and client intelligence with strategic initiatives that enhance client engagement and business performance.
Amy works closely with firm leadership and attorneys to develop and implement programs that support client development, cross-selling, and market visibility. She oversees the firm’s marketing, communications, client engagement, and competitive intelligence functions, and plays a key role in advancing the firm’s use of artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies.
Before joining Davis+Gilbert, Amy created Gladstone AI Advisory, where she advised professional services firms on AI adoption and strategic growth. She previously served as Chief Marketing & Business Development Officer at Ballard Spahr LLP and held senior roles at other leading law firms.
A recognized thought leader, Amy co-authored the 2025 State of the Industry Report in Legal Marketing & Business Development, the first comprehensive analysis of AI strategy in the legal sector. She is a frequent speaker and author on AI-enabled client development and law firm innovation.
