FoodWorks | Navigating Your First Pop Up Restaurant, Retail Store or Lease

Seth Chaikin, Davis+Gilbert Real Estate Practice Group partner, and his co-presenter, Steven Soutendijk, Executive Managing Director at Cushman & Wakefield, will speak during a session titled “Navigating Your First Pop Up Restaurant, Retail Store or Lease” at a FoodWorks program to be held in Brooklyn on June 28.

Session Overview

This session will discuss the most important elements of restaurant leasing and will focus on issues that can impact your ability to create and operate the restaurant space of your dreams. The presenters will provide insight into avoiding business, construction and legal dangers. In addition, the presenters will offer practical tips to mitigate risks when entering into a long term lease or a short term agreement for a pop-up store.
