Davis+Gilbert represented ClickPay, an electronic payment solution platform that automates the rental and real estate payment process, in its $218.5-million sale to RealPage, Inc. (RealPage), a data analytics and software provider in the real estate industry. ClickPay services 2.3 million units across the multifamily, HOA, condominium and co-op segments of real estate, and when combined with RealPage’s existing presence in the industry, will create one of the largest payment processing platforms for real estate assets with an estimated annual run-rate transaction volume totaling over $55 billion.
Davis+Gilbert represented the selling stockholders of ClickPay in connection with the acquisition. Corporate Partner Jason Abramson led the team, which included Tax Partner Brian Gallagher; Litigation Partner James Levine; Labor + Employment Counsel David Fisher; Corporate Associates Jessica Ho, Matt Hanley and Elizabeth Canner; Marketing + Advertising Associate Maxine Sharavsky Garrett; and Benefits + Compensation Associate Gabrielle White.
Davis+Gilbert has represented ClickPay since its formation in 2011, advising the company in its Series A and Series B financings, as well as in connection with general and commercial matters. The firm has provided continued legal support through the company’s exponential growth.
