Davis+Gilbert’s Real Estate team handled six of Manhattan’s largest office leases (based on square footage) in the first half of 2017, according to Crain’s New York Business.

Davis+Gilbert Co-Chair and Partner of the Real Estate group Mark Maltz and Partner Yossi Subar represented tenant Spotify USA Inc. in its relocation to 4 World Trade Center. Highlighted by Crain’s as the largest lease by a digitally-inclined company, the two leases were for separate spaces in the same building, one for 378,243 square feet and the other for 103,020 square feet.
Mr. Maltz also worked with associates Corey Kaplan and Charles Mileski in representing Simpson Thacher in a 59,748 square foot sublease at 425 Lexington Avenue, while Mr. Subar teamed up with Real Estate Partner Jeffrey Moross for tenant Intermix’s 80,903 square foot lease at 111 West 33rd Street.
The firm represented tenant Mizuho in a 147,618 square foot lease at 1271 Sixth Avenue. Real Estate group Partner and former Practice Group Chair Gerald Uram and Partner Seth Chaikin handled the deal.
Co-Chair and Partner of the Real Estate group Don Sonnenborn and Partner Glenn Motelson represented landlord Tishman Speyer in its 67,637 square foot lease at 30 Rockefeller Plaza.
