Davis & Gilbert Handles Manhattan's Largest Office Leasing Deal In First Half Of 2008

NEW YORK, August 1, 2008 — Davis & Gilbert was responsible for ten of Manhattan’s largest office leasing transactions (based on square footage), including the overall largest, for the first half of 2008.

As detailed in a report released by Crain’s New York Business, these transactions, with their respective rankings and tenants, include:

Responsible for the overall largest deal was Donald E. Sonnenborn, who represented landlord Tishman Speyer in its transaction with international advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi.  Mr. Sonnenborn also worked with Tishman Speyer in its lease with Colgate-Palmolive.  Additionally, Glenn E. Motelson represented Tishman Speyer and The Kushner Companies, respectively as landlords in their leasing agreements with DirecTV and Victoria’s Secret.  Mark E. Maltz worked with Ogilvy & Mather, Mediaedge:cia and Enfatico, Real Estate Practice Chair Gerald R. Uram and John P. Seligman represented The Segal Co., and Mr. Seligman served as counsel to Omnicom and Cardinia Real Estate.
