Davis & Gilbert Attorneys Joseph Lewczak And Ronald Urbach Featured In American Association Of Advertising Agencies' Dvd "Agency Ideas And Work"

NEW YORK, May 15, 2008 — Davis & Gilbert announces the inclusion of attorneys Joseph Lewczak and Ronald Urbach in “Agency Ideas and Work: Rights, Ownership, Usage, Intellectual Property and Consumption,” a DVD released by the American Association of Advertising Agencies (AAAA) as part of their C-Suite DVD series.

The DVD focuses on the monetization of agency work, more specifically leveraging and protecting ideas and intellectual property in the marketing services industry.  Geared towards senior advertising executives, the DVD provides a detailed discussion of intellectual property, as well as the negotiation of ownership of intellectual capital with clients and prospects . 

On the 60-minute DVD, Joseph discusses how other creative industries, such as network TV and movies, approach intellectual property and transferable lessons that can be gleaned.  Ronald covers the legalities of IP and ways to control IP and compensation and incorporate value into compensation discussions.

“Agency Ideas and Work” is provided complimentary to AAAA members and is expected to be viewed by more than 2,000 advertising executives.  The DVD serves as a foundation for a continued discussion on IP issues, something the AAAA will focus on in the coming months through workshops, webinars and member discussions.
