Bulldog Reporter, In Association With Davis & Gilbert LLP, Presents “PR Agency Management ’07 Summit”

NEW YORK, July 19, 2007 — Davis & Gilbert announced today that partners Michael Lasky and Brad J. Schwartzberg would be participating at the, "PR Agency Management ’07 Summit" conference. The conference, coordinated by Bulldog Reporter and co-sponsored by Davis & Gilbert, will take place on September 27-28, 2007 in New York City at the Williams Club.

Michael Lasky will serve as Co-Chair of the event. He will also speak in a session titled, "Building a High Performance Management Team: New Techniques in Incentive Compensation." Mr. Lasky will discuss current trends and new techniques for employers to reward key executives.

Brad Schwartzberg will discuss how to manage your business now to attract buyers in the future in a session titled, "How to Manage Your Agency to Attract the Perfect Buyer and Fetch the Highest Price."

Mr. Lasky is co-chair of the Litigation Department and the Employment Practices Group of Davis & Gilbert LLP. He regularly advises public relations executives and owners in connection with their employment, shareholder, incentive compensation and related arrangements. A noted authority on the use and enforceability of various post-employment restrictions on competition and the movement of talent between competitive organizations, he has been quoted by The Wall Street Journal, Newsday, Institutional Investor, PR Week and other leading general and trade publications. Mr. Lasky is also a frequent guest speaker, writer and media commentator on a variety of legal subjects affecting the public relations community.

Mr. Schwartzberg is co-chair of Davis & Gilbert’s Corporate Department.  He is an expert in mergers and acquisitions, financings, and securities. His general corporate practice involves negotiating and advising clients in connection with acquisition agreements and divestitures (both public and private), employment agreements, non-competition agreements, commercial financings, debt and equity investments, as well as providing counsel on daily corporate matters. Mr. Schwartzberg has represented a number of major marketing communications services companies in transactions involving the purchase and sale of both assets and stock, domestically and abroad.
