Ronald R. Urbach, Head Of Davis & Gilbert's Advertising, Marketing & Promotions Department, To Co-Chair PMA's Law/Marketing Conference. D&G Partner Joseph J. Lewczak To Join PMA Conference Faculty

NEW YORK, October 11, 2006 — Davis & Gilbert announced today that Ronald Urbach will Co-chair the Promotion Marketing Association's 28th Annual Law/Marketing Conference on December 12-13, 2006 at the Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile in Chicago, IL. Mr. Urbach's fellow Co-chairs include Steven Tugentman, Associate General Counsel, Legal & External Affairs Department, Verizon Wireless; Catherine M. Karol, Counsel, General Motors Corporation; and Ayala Deutsch, Senior Vice President & Chief Intellectual Property Counsel, NBA Properties, Inc. Also joining the PMA faculty is Joseph Lewczak, a Partner in Davis & Gilbert's Advertising Department.  Mr. Lewczak will moderate a panel discussion on affiliate marketing.  His co-panelists include Sophia Rahman, Vice President & Counsel, CitiGroup and Abe Hsuan of Linkshare. 

In his role as co-chair, Mr. Urbach spearheaded the development of the PMA's 2-day comprehensive program, titled, "Hitting the Target--Platforms & Protocols for Reaching Consumers," which, among other things, will examine the impact of pop culture and technology on marketing and a wide range of legal and regulatory implications. Also, for the first time, the PMA conference will include a "For Internal Counsel Only" session, designed to focus exclusively on issues of particular counsel to members of corporate law departments.
