Davis & Gilbert Attorney Mark E. Bokert To Serve On Faculty Of Executive Compensation Conference

NEW YORK, April 21, 2006 — Davis & Gilbert announced today that partner Mark E. Bokert will be speaking at the National Conference on Executive Compensation on June 5-6, 2006 at The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Boardroom in New York City.

Mr. Bokert will join a panel of experts in a session titled,  “Deferred Compensation: What to Do in 2006 About New IRC Section 409A and the Proposed Regulations.”

As head of the Benefits & Compensation Group, Mr. Bokert's practice encompasses nearly all aspects of employee benefits and executive compensation, including all matters related to qualified retirement plans, equity plans and deferred compensation arrangements. For more than 14 years, he has regularly advised clients on the design, establishment, administration and termination of their plans. In connection with employee benefits matters, Mr. Bokert has represented companies within a wide-range of industries, including advertising, investment banking, insurance, and many of Silicon Alley's high-tech start-ups.
