For Second Consecutive Year, Davis & Gilbert Featured in The National Law Journal’s Midsize Hot List

New York, NY, April 15, 2013The National Law Journal has selected Davis & Gilbert LLP for inclusion on its prestigious 2013 Midsize Hot List for the second consecutive year. The list spotlights midsize law firms nationwide that “are led by forward-thinking attorneys who are guiding their organizations in new practice directions, amassing more business in mainstay practices and spreading into new regions,” according to the publication. Only twenty firms were selected through a rigorous evaluation process.

The feature article on the firm, which dubbed Davis & Gilbert “Giants in advertising law,” highlights the firm’s “full menu of legal services” it provides to agencies, brands and media outlets. The article further described recent examples of the strategic marketing advice that Davis & Gilbert provides its clients, including the firm’s work in drafting the agreement that made Chrysler’s Dodge brand a sponsor of hip-hop mogul Jay-Z's “Made in America” music festival, as well as brokering a deal with the car manufacturer and famed rapper Eminem for a music video that was subsequently featured in a Super Bowl advertisement. The firm’s successful representation of IBM in three advertising challenges against competitor Oracle Corp. before the National Advertising Division of the Better Business Bureau (NAD) was also highlighted.
