Davis & Gilbert LLP Appoints New Partners

NEW YORK, January 3, 2006 — Davis & Gilbert LLP, one of the world's leading advertising, marketing and communications law firms, announces the appointment of Ina B. Scher and Nancy J. Yanks as partners effective January 1, 2006.  

Ina B. Scher, 38, focuses her practice on litigation in both State and Federal court and has experience in general commercial litigation, including securities fraud, white collar criminal matters and other business torts. Prior to joining Davis & Gilbert LLP, she served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney's Office. Ms. Scher is a member of the New York and New Jersey bars. She is a graduate of Boston University School of Law.

Nancy J. Yanks, 33, practices in all aspects of real estate law, including office and retail leasing (representing both landlords and tenants), conveyancing and financing.  She received her law degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University.
