Davis & Gilbert Attorneys Ronald R. Urbach And Stuart Lee Friedel on Faculty Of Leading Advertising Agency Industry Conference On Value-Based Compensation

NEW YORK, September 19, 2005 — Davis & Gilbert announced today that attorneys Ronald R. Urbach and Stuart Lee Friedel would be participating as speakers at the American Association of Advertising Agencies Seminar: What You Need to Know About Negotiating Value-Oriented Compensation. The event, being hosted by the AAAA, the premier trade association dedicated to representing the advertising agency business in the United States, is a members-only seminar on “Value-Based Compensation” on Thursday, October 27, 2005 at the New York Helmsley Hotel, at 212 East 42ndStreet in New York City.

Mr. Urbach and Mr. Friedel will be on a panel of legal experts discussing intellectual property rights as they apply to the advertising industry.

Ronald R. Urbach is co-chair of the Advertising, Marketing and Promotions Department of Davis & Gilbert and is considered one of the country's top industry lawyers. His clients include numerous multinational, national and regional advertising agencies, including those agencies that are viewed as being the premiere creative agencies in the world. Agency clients include the full range of below the line agencies from promotion, direct marketing, telemarketing, public relations, health care, interactive, event and other businesses. Stuart Lee Friedel is a partner in the Advertising, Marketing and Promotions department of Davis & Gilbert. Mr. Friedel has considerable experience in all areas of advertising and direct marketing. He regularly counsels clients on issues relating to all aspects of intellectual property, including copyright and rights of privacy and publicity. Mr. Friedel’s practice extends from providing advice on the content and support for advertising copy and telemarketing scripts, to the negotiation of complex agreements relating to the advertising, marketing and promotions industry.
