Domestic Trademark

Davis & Gilbert offers a full service domestic trademark practice, including licensing and litigation. Our attorneys are well versed in the needs of a diverse group of industries, including advertising, publishing, music, media, fashion, cosmetics, television (broadcasting) and entertainment.

Specific areas of expertise include:
• Consulting with clients at the creation and selection stage

• Reviewing and analyzing preliminary and comprehensive searches of trademarks, service marks, company names, designs, slogans, trade names and domain names

• Filing and prosecution of applications to register trademarks, service marks and designs at Federal and state levels

• Ex parte appeals and inter partes opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and reviewing courts

• Policing of trademarks, including review of Trademark Office Gazette and subscription to watching services for trademarks and domain names
