"Mind Your T's and C's"

Richard S. Eisert, Davis & Gilbert Digital Media, Technology & Privacy partner, will speak during a Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) webinar titled “Mind Your T’s and C’s” taking place at 2:00 p.m. EST on July 13.

Session Overview
The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) and the Association of American Advertising Agencies (4A’s) first released standard Terms and Conditions (T’s & C’s) for digital media buys in 2002 to streamline the media-buying process using standard terms.In 2009, these organizations brought together 100 legal, sales and buying representatives of various companies to update the T’s & C’s in order to reflect a very different ad tech ecosystem. In order to gain a better understanding of the T’s and C’s, Mr. Eisert and his co-speaker, Leigh Freund, CEO of NAI, will give their insider perspectives on topics including:

  • Data usage standards (Section XII.c.)
  • The history and reasoning behind sequential liability
  • The provisions around editorial guidelines
  • Where to insert language around the NAI and DAA self-regulatory principles
  • Fraud prevention
