Session Overview
As the digital landscape continues to expand and evolve, solely relying on base salaries and annual bonuses just isn’t enough. Many firms are successfully deploying “long term” and “equity based” compensation techniques in order to attract and retain the most talented individuals in the industry. This session will evaluate various incentive compensation plans, as well as the pros and cons of offering real and phantom equity. Attendees will learn the practical steps necessary to create, implement and manage these plans, and how to protect their most valuable asset – “their people.” This session will leave attendees with an understanding of:

  • How to design compensation models to achieve your agency’s growth objectives
  • The benefits of long-term incentive compensation plans
  • The pros and cons of real and phantom equity
  • How to design these plans with effective restrictive covenant protections
