Canadian Bar Association’s 5th Annual Access to Information and Privacy Law Symposium
October 30-31, 2014

Gary A. Kibel, Digital Media, Technology & Privacy Partner, will speak at the Canadian Bar Association’s 5th Annual Access to Information and Privacy Law Symposium to be held in Ottawa, Ontario during a session titled “Privacy & Technology: Mobile Tracking, Consumer Online Scoring and User-Generated Health.”

The U.S. Federal Trade Commission in December announced three consumer privacy issues that it plans to examine in 2014: mobile tracking, consumer online scoring and user-generated health data. Mr. Kibel and his co-presenters will discuss each of these issues in detail, with a view to understanding the privacy risks and policy responses arising out of the United States [and other jurisdictions].
