Conference Overview
Navigating the Legal & Regulatory Framework for Advertising to Young Millennials

Expert panelists will consider challenging issues facing the children’s advertising industry, focusing on how online and mobile technology has changed the way companies market their products to children in the United States and abroad. A significant emphasis will be placed on the modifications to the FTC’s COPPA Rule, including discussions on how companies are implementing new practices to comply with these changes in their online and mobile marketing.

Ms. Fitzpatrick and co-presenter Laura Protzmann, Senior Counsel, Marketing, Unilever United States, Inc. will present during a session titled “Negotiation Strategies for Advertising Agency & Talent Agreements Related to Children’s Media.” This panel will cover the special nuances of drafting and negotiating agreements when working with younger talent and content intended for children.
