32nd Annual Promotion Marketing Association Conference
November 18 – 19, 2010

Ronald R. Urbach, Partner/Co-Chair of the Advertising, Marketing & Promotions Group will give a presentation titled, “What You’re Watching – Chaos and Opportunity: The Internet Ecosystem; The Rise of Integrated Marketing.” Mr. Urbach will explore the massive changes in technology that have radically transformed the commercial experience, for consumers, retailers, and media companies alike. He will also examine the ongoing conflicts between the wants of today’s consumers and the government’s views on what consumers need, and what those conflicts means to the future of e-commerce. This session will take place on the first day of the conference, November 18, from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.

Joseph J. Lewczak, Advertising, Marketing & Promotions Partner, will moderate the session, “How Far Can/Should You Go With Your Promotion.” Joseph will discuss how far a promotion can go and still be legally safe. He will also share promotion “war stories.” This session will take place on November 19, from 3:45 – 4:30 p.m.

Allison Fitzpatrick, Advertising, Marketing & Promotions Associate, will host an expert roundtable titled, “Viral Marketing, WOM, and Blog Disclosures.” During this roundtable, she will provide an update on the FTC's endorsement guides and recent FTC enforcement actions as well as provide an update on WOMMA's social media disclosure guides. This session will take place on November 19, from 7:30 – 8:30 a.m.
