Lindsay M. Rodman is an associate in the Intellectual Property and Advertising, Marketing & Promotions Practice Groups of Davis & Gilbert. She represents advertising agencies, companies and individuals in connection with trademark, advertising, copyright, domain name and corporate intellectual property matters. Ms. Rodman’s practice encompasses all aspects of domestic and international trademark practice, including clearance, registration, policing and enforcement. She counsels clients on issues surrounding selection, registration and protection of trademarks, names, slogans and domain names, and she also has experience in opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial & Appeal Board. Her transactional experience includes drafting and negotiating a wide array of agreements, including license agreements and conflict settlement agreements. Ms. Rodman also represents musical artists and producers in entertainment transactional matters, including negotiating and drafting licenses and agreements relating to recording and music publishing.

Ms. Rodman has lectured for New York University’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies on the topic of non-traditional trademarks, and she has published articles about recent developments in copyright law. Prior to joining Davis & Gilbert, Ms. Rodman was an associate at Cowan Liebowitz & Latman, P.C. and LeClairRyan, P.C. Before attending law school, she worked in the A&R administration department of Island Def Jam Music Group and in the publishing department of Bad Boy Worldwide Entertainment Group.
