Mario S. Mendolaro is an associate in the Advertising, Marketing & Promotions; Intellectual Property; Entertainment, Media & Publishing; Technology, Digital Media & Privacy Practice Groups of Davis & Gilbert.  Mr. Mendolaro represents advertising and marketing agencies, digital and social media agencies, public relations agencies, media companies and advertisers in many aspects of their advertising, marketing, intellectual property and technology matters.

His practice includes reviewing advertising copy and also drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of agreements with respect to agency-client agreements, intellectual property licensing, talent releases, software development, production, sponsorship, media buying and barter, strategic alliances, co-marketing and joint ventures.  In addition, Mr. Mendolaro counsels clients on issues arising from the creation, acquisition, use and protection of intellectual property.

Before joining Davis & Gilbert, Mr. Mendolaro was an intellectual property attorney at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP where he advised a broad array of multi-national companies on intellectual property issues arising from complex transactions including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, license agreements and bankruptcy.  While in law school, he served as a Notes Editor on the New York University Law Review.
